Integrity kicks-off a program in anti-corruption training

IMG 5744~2Yemen Organization for Promoting Integrity OPI launched a training program in Taiz aiming to advocate for woman's participation in political and economic decision in Yemen, and to strengthen her action and potentials in anti- corruption.

 

The kick-off included a four-day training in anti-corruption and good governance for 30 decision-makers among woman of Taiz.

 

Mr. Rashad Alakhali, who is the undersecretary of Taiz, highlighted during the opening session the significance of women's participation in combating corruption, and highly advocating for Taiz's woman involvement in making political and economic decision. He confessed that the administrative apparatus involves a prevalent corruption, urging the civil society organizations and activists to re-double genuine and effective efforts contributing to anti-corruption.

 

The one-year training program was funded by the initiative of the Middle East Partnership (MEPI).
